Jewelry Care:

Unique, custom, personal jewelry is timeless but not invincible. Sterling silver tarnishes over time and everyday activities/products can actually be quite harmful to both gold and silver. To ensure your jewelry remains a part of your everyday style, please take the following considerations:

• Remove jewelry when doing any activity that could cause damage such as: sports, sleep, shower, pool, or beach.

• Avoid contact with chemicals, products, and perfumes.

• Clean regularly with specific jewelry cleaners or mild cleaning agents (baking soda, water, and a toothbrush are perfect).

• Use a jewelry polishing cloth to return pieces to original luster.

• Store jewelry in safe and dry location. Silver pieces should ideally be kept in an airtight plastic bag to prevent tarnishing.

Repairs/Refinishing:

We stand behind our work, so should the client’s piece need any repairs from normal wear and tear, Rocky Pardo Jewelry will repair it for free within the first six months from the date of purchase based on our evaluation of the piece.

A lot of silver pieces are finished with oxidation, and it is completely natural for this finish to “wear polish” over time. This means it is getting a lot of love! We are happy to re-oxidize any pieces for free.

High polish and textured pieces will also wear over time. Depending on the finish of your jewelry, we can reapply a finish for $0-20.

At the discretion of Rocky Pardo Jewelry, a custom piece will be repaired or replaced if any manufacturer defects are found in the first 12 months from the date of the purchase.

Clients will be responsible for getting their pieces to us for refinishing or repairs outside of normal wear, either in person or via shipment. In order to properly insure your jewelry upon its return to you, we charge a flat $10 shipping fee on packages valued under $400, and a flat $20 shipping fee on packages valued $400-1000. Anything valued higher will need to be evaluated on a case by case basis.
