Rocky Pardo’s designs pay homage to her split roots in St. Louis, Missouri, and Madrid, Spain. Her love of jewelry began early, sparked by early forays into her mother’s jewelry box, and grew into a lifelong passion. She started working with metals in 2006 at the Craft Alliance in St. Louis and later earned her BFA in Metalsmithing in 2014. After honing her skills as a bench jeweler in bespoke jewelry stores, she launched Rocky Pardo Jewelry in 2016 from her home studio. Following years of meeting lovely friends and patrons and winning awards at juried shows across the country, she fulfilled her dream of joining a brick-and-mortar space. In 2026, she became managing partner and co-owner of Wismar Jewelry on the Gulf Coast, where she now lives and works—drawing inspiration from a coastal lifestyle that echoes her Spanish roots.
Rocky Pardo Jewelry blends fine and art jewelry into a handcrafted collection of contemporary mixed-metal pieces. Rocky’s designs strike a balance between rough and refined elements, creating elegant, comfortable, and easy-to-wear pieces. Using ethically sourced silver, gold, mixing her own alloys, and sourcing gemstones, she pairs detailed craftsmanship with durability. Textured, oxidized finishes contrast with polished surfaces, nod to her obsession with duality—where raw materials can be both rugged and refined. Inspired by harmonic opposites in her materials, surroundings, and bicultural life, Rocky creates pieces that celebrate the wearer.
